Dag Hill is a project I made together with an experimental rock band, creating a logo and a series of illustrations to give the band its own visual expression. The work started from their music and the feeling they wanted to communicate. I explored an experimental and organic visual language through collage, combining printed photographs by cutting and pasting them by hand. The analogue compositions were then processed digitally in Photoshop and Illustrator. The process moved between physical and digital work, which gave the identity a more tactile and personal character. The project developed in dialogue with the band and resulted in an identity that reflects their visual and musical world.
